Terms of Service

LSA offers software development, web development, SaaS platform building, business automation, cloud infrastructure, and technical consulting services. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing for each engagement are confirmed in a written quote or service agreement before work begins.

Indicative “from” pricing shown on the website is for guidance only and does not constitute a binding offer.

Work outside an agreed scope, or beyond the hours included in a monthly plan, is charged at R850 per hour in 30-minute blocks. We will always give you an estimate and wait for your approval before starting any chargeable work.

Fixed-price subscription products (such as LegacyConnect, Professional Email, and Website Maintenance) are billed monthly via PayFast. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Once-off payments (such as domain registrations) are processed via PayFast. All amounts are in South African Rand (ZAR) inclusive of VAT where applicable.

Refunds for subscription products are considered on a case-by-case basis. Once-off services are non-refundable once delivery has commenced.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information when submitting enquiries or placing orders.
• Respond promptly to requests for content, feedback, or approval to avoid delays.
• Ensure you hold the rights to any content, images, or materials you supply to LSA.
• Use our services only for lawful purposes in accordance with South African law.

Upon full payment, intellectual property rights in custom deliverables (code, designs, written content) produced specifically for your project transfer to you. LSA retains ownership of its own tools, frameworks, libraries, and methodologies used during delivery.

LSA may reference your project (name, category, outcome) in its portfolio unless you request confidentiality in writing before work begins.

Both parties agree to keep confidential any non-public business information disclosed during the engagement. This obligation survives the termination of any service agreement.

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, LSA's liability for any claim arising from these terms or the delivery of services is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. LSA is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.

The content on this website is provided for information purposes only. LSA makes reasonable efforts to ensure accuracy but does not warrant that content is free from errors. The website is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

You may not use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from this website without prior written consent.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on our website. Continued use of our services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These conditions apply to the Founding Member offer made in a free website audit report, which is open to the first five founding clients and must be accepted within 14 days of the date on that report. We may withdraw the offer once all five places are taken. One offer per business; it cannot be combined with other discounts.

• Website rebuild. R2,250 once-off (our standard pricing starts from R5,900) for a website of up to 5 pages, including moving across your existing content and one round of revisions. It covers up to two working days of our time. Additional pages are R500 each. Anything larger or more complex, such as an online shop, bookings or customer logins, is quoted separately, and work beyond the above is charged at R850 per hour after you approve an estimate.
• How the R2,250 is paid. In one payment, through PayFast, before we start work. There are no instalments.
• Monthly care plan. The first three months of your hosting and maintenance plan are 30% off our standard monthly price. After that the standard price applies, as set out when you join. We email you 14 days before the founding rate ends. The plan is month-to-month with no contract, and you can cancel at any time.
• Price lock. The standard monthly price of your plan will not be increased for 24 months from the day you start, for as long as you stay on that plan.
• Quarterly re-check. A free automated website audit every three months while your plan is active.
• Included changes. One hour of content changes per month for the first three months. Unused time does not carry over. Further work is charged at R850 per hour after you approve an estimate.

Payments are processed through PayFast in the name of Legacy Solutions Architecture. The rest of these terms apply to the Founding Member offer as well.

This applies to our monthly services (care plans, hosting and email). It does not apply to once-off project fees.

• Every month you stay subscribed, the price of each of those services drops by 1% of the price you are paying at that time.
• It starts after any launch or Founding Member discount on that service has ended, so you never receive both at the same time.
• The discount stops at 50% of our standard price. After that you keep paying that price for as long as you stay subscribed.
• If you cancel and sign up again later, the discount starts again from the beginning.
• It cannot be combined with other promotional discounts on the same service. You receive whichever single offer is larger.
• You can ask us for your current price at any time.
